'Yeeso' is good for 'await' as 'waiting for something to come'. However, collapsing it with 'wait' (blocking wait) loses nuance. 'Yeesndam' (yeeso + damal - wait + gate) suggests 'waiting at a gate' - a more precise metaphor for awaiting a result that will 'open the gate' to further execution. This better reflects the suspend-until-ready nature of 'await'.
